Parents need support during this special and sacred time
As a postpartum doula, my job is to be an extra set of hands while you’re healing from birth and deepening your bond and relationships as a family. I do this by supporting you in some simple but what can be profound ways during such a special time.
A typical day-shift is about 4 hours and a typical night-shift is about 8 hours (10:00pm-6am). I work with your family needs and we find a schedule that works best for you. Things I offer may include …
- Assisting with newborn care from 0-3 months
- Chest feeding, pumping and bottle feeding support
- Care for the birthing person, family and home
- Simple cooking – making sandwiches, oatmeal, eggs, soup, smoothies
- Light housework – dishes, laundry, vacuuming, picking up the toys
- Errands: grocery shopping, dog walking
- Care for older children
- pet care
Rates: $35-50/hr
(Fee is based on day shift/night shift hours, location, and travel. Discounts available for first responders & military family.)
